More about Makenna

As a native Oregonian, I have been fortunate enough to have grown up in a community that revolves around athletics and outdoor recreation. I have a passion for movement. Movement can be one of the greatest and most satisfying forms of expression and creativity. For myself, and many others that I know, movement is our release, our sacred place, and our home.

I have played, practiced, and taught a great handful of sports. I played soccer competitively through high school, climbed for fun, and ran on the varsity xc team. After high school, I began teaching Nordic skiing and climbing at Bend Endurance Academy. Nowadays, I am a competitive ultra runner, and skateboard and surf for fun. Through my background in sports I have grown to know the satisfaction and joy of pushing your body to its limits and I have also known the pain, frustration and isolation that comes with injury.

My goal is to use my knowledge of sports and movement to give each client specialized care, individualized based off of how they use their body. Whether they are coming to me for preventative care or injury recovery, I want each client to leave feeling rejuvenated and fluidity in their body.

More about Alicia

As someone who has grown to become extremely passionate about holistic wellness, and curious about different types of healing modalities, I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this team. I have seen the incredible difference that alternative medicine has made in my own health, and feel so fortunate to finally be working somewhere that helps others in our community see those positive changes in their lives.

I am looking forward to growing my skills in my administrative and marketing roles here, and I am also excited to become a certified technician for our new deep tissue laser therapy. When I am not at work, you can find me hanging out with my dog, Jake, playing guitar, writing poetry, dabbling in photography, and spending time with family & friends.
